Methodology
Each covered vault receives one score from 0 to 100. The same rules apply on every chain and protocol. Scores are reproducible from published inputs and are not adjusted by hand.
Sixteen factors, four pillars
Yield 30%, safety 35%, liquidity 20%, sustainability 15%. Fifteen factors are additive within their pillar; exploit history is a multiplier on the safety pillar. Pillars aggregate by weighted geometric mean, so a weak pillar is not offset by a strong one.

Every daily snapshot is committed to a public repository at publication. The history is append-only and cannot be backfilled by anyone, including AtlasYield.
Coverage
525 vaults across 9 protocols on Ethereum, Base, Solana, Arbitrum, Optimism, and BNB Chain. Solana vaults are scored, not executed. Coverage is set by a $100K TVL floor on covered protocols, not by request.

A rating to gate an earn catalog on, produced without issuer payment: no protocol pays to be rated, rated higher, or included. Partner keys add bulk factor access and score history under a published data licence.

Allocation and execution on the scored universe.
The depositor sets an amount and a risk tier. The Engine selects from vaults that pass the score and route-survival gates, sizes the position count to the amount, and discloses when a concentration cap could not be met at that size. Before any signature, each route is checked for two conditions: shares are minted to the depositor's wallet, and the route returns at least 85% of input value. A route that fails either check is refused, not substituted.

- What does AtlasYield do?
- AtlasYield is an independent rating layer for on-chain yield. Every covered DeFi vault receives one score from 0 to 100, produced by the same 16-factor engine on every chain and protocol, published daily with a timestamp before the outcome is known. Each vault also shows who controls it, read onchain from its admin keys and timelock, and EVM vaults get a daily exit check: a real round trip that tests whether money can come back out. The same data is served to depositors through the Atlas Engine, to agents through a public API and an MCP server, and to distribution partners under a published data licence.
- How are the scores produced?
- Sixteen factors feed four pillars: yield (30%), safety (35%), liquidity (20%) and sustainability (15%). Fifteen factors are additive within their pillar; exploit history is a multiplier on the safety pillar. Pillars aggregate by weighted geometric mean, so a weak pillar cannot be offset by a strong one. Scores are recomputed every four hours, published once a day, and are never adjusted by hand.
- Who pays AtlasYield?
- Not the protocols. No protocol pays to be rated, rated higher, or included in coverage. Reading scores is free with attribution. Paid access covers volume beyond fair use, freshness and uptime commitments, advance notice of methodology changes, full-dataset redistribution, white-labelling, and coverage of protocols not yet rated.
- Does AtlasYield take custody of funds?
- No. The Atlas Engine builds an allocation and prepares transactions; every transaction is signed by the user from their own wallet, and positions are held in that wallet. AtlasYield holds no keys and cannot move, redirect or freeze funds.
- Can AI agents use AtlasYield?
- Yes. The REST API at api.atlasyield.club/v1 serves scores, factor breakdowns, route-survival verdicts and open alerts without an API key, rate-limited per IP. The MCP server exposes seven tools over the same data, hosted at atlasyield.club/mcp with nothing to install, or locally via @atlasyield/mcp on npm. Machine-readable indexes are at atlasyield.club/llms.txt and docs.atlasyield.club/llms.txt.
- What is a route-survival verdict?
- A daily round-trip probe of each EVM vault: stablecoin in, position, stablecoin out, through a real swap route on the vault's own chain. It answers whether a position can be entered and exited at size today, independent of the liquidity a protocol advertises. A vault that fails the probe is excluded from the Engine and reported as NO_ROUTE on the API.
