## Trust and safety (https://atlasyield.club/trust)

AtlasYield deploys no smart contracts and holds no user funds. Deposits go
directly from a user's wallet to the protocol; AtlasYield supplies a score
and an allocation policy only.

Two incidents have cost users money, both in the consumer deposit path, both
on-chain and permanent: a routed deposit once credited shares to the router
instead of the depositor (now blocked by a fail-closed recipient-safety
check on every deposit path), and a $10 deposit into a Pendle market with no
tradable depth returned $0.00077 (now blocked by a route-value check
requiring at least 85% of input value back before any approval or send).
The ratings API touches no funds and has no transaction surface.

No third party has audited the scoring engine, and there is no contract to
audit. Instead, every score ever published is committed to a public git
repository with a timestamp (https://github.com/gveshk/atlasyield-score-history), so any past rating can be
checked against the commit that published it.

**Does AtlasYield hold or custody user funds?**
No. AtlasYield deploys no smart contracts. There is no AtlasYield pool, no vault of ours, no admin key over your assets, and no contract of ours on the path your funds take. Deposits go straight from your wallet to the protocol, and you sign the transaction yourself.

**What can still go wrong when using AtlasYield?**
Two incidents, both in the consumer deposit path, both on-chain and permanent: a routed deposit once credited shares to the router instead of the depositor (fixed with a fail-closed recipient-safety check), and a $10 deposit into a Pendle market with no tradable depth returned $0.00077 (fixed with a route-value check requiring at least 85% of input value back). The ratings API touches no funds and has no transaction surface.

**Is the Atlas Score itself audited?**
No third party has reviewed the scoring engine, and AtlasYield deploys no contracts for a smart-contract audit to examine. Instead, every score ever published is committed to a public git repository with a timestamp, so any rating can be checked against the commit that published it.

**Does AtlasYield take payment to rate a vault?**
No. No protocol pays AtlasYield to be rated, to be rated higher, or to be included, and AtlasYield takes no share of yield. Reading and citing scores is free with attribution; paid tiers cover volume, freshness guarantees and support.

## Data licence (https://atlasyield.club/data-license)

Free to read, quote and cite, including inside an AI assistant, provided the
score is attributed to AtlasYield by name, a link to the vault page is
included wherever possible, and the measurement date travels with the
score. A commercial agreement is required for request volume beyond fair
use, a freshness/uptime SLA, advance notice of methodology changes,
redistribution of the full rated universe as a dataset, or white-labelled
scoring. AtlasYield takes no payment from a protocol to be rated, rated
higher, or included, and takes no share of yield. Scores are research and
information, not investment advice, and can be wrong, stale or incomplete.

## Risk calls (https://atlasyield.club/calls)

Call #1, published 9 July 2026: Clearstar Earn USDC (Euler v2, Base) scored
70.5 (Conservative band) on 26 June 2026 while paying a 5.7% USDC yield. On
27 June its yield engine stopped; the Atlas Score cut 9.5 points the same
day, out of Conservative. The score kept falling as the dead rate persisted,
reaching 44.4 by 9 July even as some deposits returned. The claim reviewed:
whether the vault's advertised Conservative-risk, ~5.7%-yield state still
held after 27 June. It did not, and the Atlas Score reflected that the same
day the yield stopped, a day before most deposits moved. Full timeline and
factor attribution at https://atlasyield.club/calls.

## About (https://atlasyield.club/about)

AtlasYield is the independent judgment layer for on-chain yield: neutral
vault scoring across 16 risk factors in four pillars, an allocation policy
built on that score, and blowup monitoring for vaults already held. Built
and operated by Jeevesh Kuril. Contact: admin@atlasyield.club.

## Methodology summary

Sixteen factors feed four pillars: yield 30%, safety 35%, liquidity 20%,
sustainability 15%. Fifteen factors are additive within their pillar;
exploit history is a multiplier on the safety pillar. Pillars aggregate by
weighted geometric mean, so a weak pillar cannot be offset by a strong one.
Composite bands: Conservative 70-100, Balanced 40-69, Aggressive 0-39.
Scores recompute every 4 hours and publish once daily. As of the latest
publish (2026-10-14), 520 vaults carry a published score, on Ethereum, Base, Solana, Arbitrum, Optimism, BNB Chain. Solana vaults (Kamino Earn) are scored only: no execution, no route-survival verdict. Full
methodology: https://docs.atlasyield.club/score/pillars-and-factors.
